PartsHeaven uses a very powerful search method to help you locate your parts,
because there are so many cars and so many parts to try we use a step by step
process to get you to the parts you need.
The other powerful feature of PartsHeaven is that even when you do your search the website isn't just looking for parts that specifically match your car but also for parts that are compatible and do the same job as the part you are after, taking a lot of the stress out of your interchange questions.
When you are making your selection the first and easiest steps are the year, make and model. You do not have to be specific on the year as the system will know the year range between different series.
Because cars have thousands of parts it gets difficult to navigate to the particullar one you want, to make finding your part easier our parts are divided into catagories so you don't have to shuffle through every part.
The easiest way to navigate through the part catagory list is to consider where each part sits in your car, for instance Bonnets, Bumpers and headlights all sit in the front of your car so selecting the "Front End Parts" would pull up all the body parts relating to the front while things like Distributors, ECU's and Starter Motors can be found under "Electrical".
After selecting the catagory your part belongs to your next list will have all the parts belonging to that catagory, a lot of parts are members of assemblies for instance a wiper regulator would be found with the wiper motor under the 'Electrical' catagory.
When you have selected the part you would like the next catagory will pull up your part options, this is where any small differences in parts can be sorted out, for instance a door mirror might be electric or manual, body parts can have moulds or no moulds.
Here you can see the results of your search, this example shows the layout of information you will see when you complete a search. Bottom left is the name of the part recycler your part was found at and to the right of the name is the recylcers contact number, above that there are comments on the item, this can be on the condition of the item or even information to help you identify your part out of multiple results such as part numbers, to the right of the comments is the reference number, this can help the staff at the recycler better track down the item you would like, to the right of that is the price, state and nature of the item.
Even when we don't have an item in stock, it is very likely that the people at PartsHeaven can help you track down the part you are after, when you are making a request for a part please list as much information about the make, model and specific part you are after and make sure you put in your contact details!
